Medea is a famous Italian company renowed for the quality of its furniture production.
It was founded in 1905, producing chairs and armchairs sold to the best shops in Milano, and it also coopertated with architects C. Zen and E. Basile, the founders of the Italian Liberty.
Over the years, Medea has reproduced a number of interesting historic pieces, both by anonymous and famous names,starting from late 19th century English furniture and passing then to the French Art Nouveau; a style which, in the history of 20th-century furniture, emboided quality design and materials, and style for which it is today well known.
